Delivery Information

Most GB mainland orders are sent on the 1-4 Working day Courier service (unless otherwise stated) by our suppliers subject to product availability and specific delivery times as detailed on the website. If we are informed of extended delays from our suppliers we will try to phone or email you to inform you or to offer an alternative product if available. No alternative products will be sent without your agreement. Most orders placed before 12am will be forwarded to our suppliers and normally despatched by them the following day subject to product availability. Any orders placed after this time will be ordered the following day for suitable dispatch. Please note that during busy periods orders may take an extra day to process.

All GB mainland orders will be shipped free of charge to the Ground Floor only unless otherwise stated. If you require delivery where access is via stairs or a lift then extra charges may apply. Please call us on 0845 5555 007 for more information

** Extra charges may apply for orders from the North of Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and all International Orders. Please go to the check out for the delivery charge to be calculated. **

Customers placing orders from certain Scottish Post Codes such as those beginning IV and AB should allow 1-2 extra working days for delivery.

Please note that Courier Companies will normally deliver to kerbside unless prior arrangements are made and it is important that there will be someone available to receive the packages as it will be the customers’ responsibility to locate products inside the building. If there is no one there to accept delivery, the courier would normally try again the following day before returning the parcel to their local depot. You will then have 2 weeks to collect your parcel at your expense before it is returned to us. Any items returned to us will incur a re-delivery charge. This charge may vary depending on the size of the item.

Couriers usually deliver Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 6.00pm and should post a card through the door if there is no one to sign for the parcel. Please organise to have someone available to receive the following day.

They will though usually leave the parcel with a neighbour or in an accessible place like a garage or porch but only if they are given permission so please indicate if this would be okay in the special delivery instructions at the checkout.

If you supply an incorrect postal code or incomplete address then there maybe a delay in despatching your parcel or delivery of your parcel may not be possible. It is not the responsibility of FurnitureRunner.com to ensure that the address is correct and we accept no responsibility for the loss or delay in delivery of your parcel if the address that you supplied is incorrect or incomplete.

Damaged Parcels - PLEASE CHECK YOUR DELIVERY

It is ALWAYS best to sign for your delivery as UNCHECKED or make sure you check your delivery BEFORE you sign for it as being received ok.

If you are unable to check your delivery before signing for it, sign for your delivery as UNCHECKED or if the package is damaged in anyway, no matter how small, please sign for it stating DAMAGED. We CANNOT CLAIM from our carriers for any damaged items that have not been signed for as DAMAGED.

If you sign for a delivery which you find at a later date is damaged, our carriers WILL NOT accept liability and you may be charged for the damaged items if we cannot claim from the carriers, In this case a delivery charge for replacement items WILL be made.

By completing your order you agree to abide by these instructions to check your delivery and sign for it accordingly as either OK, UNCHECKED or DAMAGED. If you have signed for your goods as DAMAGED you must notify us by telephone within 7 days of the original delivery date. This communication must also be backed up in writing via recorded delivery within the same 7 days. Once we have been notified of the damaged goods, you will be given a specific reference number.

International Delivery

For all International orders FurnitureRunner.com will e-mail you with the postage charge for the goods that you must agree to before we despatch your item. Please note that orders to the Republic of Ireland, the Channel Island and the Isle of Man all count as International orders. Orders to Northern Ireland may also incur an extra postage charge.
